Frequently asked questions
How is bipolar disorder treated?
Treatment is personalized. Your provider evaluates your symptoms and history, explains your options, including benefits and possible side effects, and meets with you regularly to track how you are doing and adjust your care.
Can genetic testing help with my medications?
It can. Psychotropic genetic testing looks at genes that influence how your body responds to many antidepressants, mood stabilizers and other psychiatric medications. It does not diagnose a condition; it helps guide medication choices.
Can I be seen by telehealth?
Yes. Initial and follow-up visits can be in person at our Federal Way clinic or by telehealth, though we highly encourage an in-person initial evaluation.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We are in network with Medicare, Medicaid (Apple Health) and most major plans, including Premera Blue Cross, Regence, Aetna, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. Self-pay is available too. Coverage varies by plan, so please verify your benefits with us before your first visit. See all accepted plans.
